Injection Molding

Injection molding is a manufacturing process accomplished by taking raw, uncured rubber made of strips and forcing it into an injection chamber using a rotating screw. The material is then forced from the chamber into the mold and cured with time under heat and pressure.

Compression Molding

Compression molding is accomplished by taking a pre-measured amount of raw rubber material and placing it into a heated, open lower mold cavity. The lower mold cavity is then forced to close against the upper mold cavity, causing the raw material to flow through the mold’s shape. After curing, the mold cavity is opened, and the shapes can be removed.

Transfer Molding

Compression molding is accomplished by taking a pre-measured amount of raw rubber material and placing it into a heated, open lower mold cavity. The lower mold cavity is then forced to close against the upper mold cavity, causing the raw material to flow through the mold’s shape. After curing, the mold cavity is opened, and the shapes can be removed.
